Final Stretch....

Dear Ones,

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! I am so grateful for the wonderful family and friends I have been blessed with and who continuously bless my life! Life sure is sweet and I'm grateful to my Heavenly Father for it!

Well its been about a month since I've last written an update but I promise to be better...(that line is what one of my professors would call "Déjà Moo," that is that you've heard that bull before :) but seriously I'll try. I feel a bit like FSU football where I struggle each week to get a head and by some miracle or some extra push some how I end up on top...GO NOLES!

I look at my schedule each week on Sunday night and think alright this week won't be too bad. Then Monday rolls around and before I crawl in bed my evenings are packed for the week with things that need to get done. This happens to the point where I don't have time to study so I stay up all night before a test and pray that I pull it off and like FSU I come through in the end just getting by.

I've been shuffled around in the clinic a bit this last month seeing all different types of patients the most sad being in the ICU with gun shot victims. I have my last day of clinic this Tuesday. I have enjoyed acute care much more than I thought I would but I'm looking forward to a change in the scenery for next semester (I'm not sure where I'll got yet but its most likely outpatient).

I'm sure yall have heard about the craziness that has been going on here. I escaped to my aunts house for thanksgiving and avoided most of it. Turns out while I was gone protesters shut down a couple malls on black Friday...there are going to be some angry business owners that all I'm saying. While at my aunts house I was totally spoiled with food, games, good company, sleep and the blessing of being with family for the holiday. I'm lucky they live so close and are so generous with what they have!!

Whew ok one more week of class and then finals! I can't believe its here and I'm already heading into this week sick...Wish me luck! I hope to see some of yall soon!!

-Erin
