Tally, Tests and Tournaments

Dear Ones,

I am enjoying a beautiful Sunday morning like my mother taught me: window open with a fan pulling in the 62 degree air and church music in the background. March has really been all over the place weather wise so I'll enjoy this before it drops in temperature later this week which it will inevitably do.

The first week in March I was treated to a vacation in my favorite place with my favorite people. It was spring break for me and it could not have come soon enough and now that I'm two weeks away from that I find myself wishing for another. The weekend I left is snowed 7 inches! So Florida's humidity and warmth were a pleasant welcoming. I spent time doing chores, crossword puzzles, homework and napping. We even took a trip to one of my favorite places to visit the critters seen in the pictures.

It was way too short! School has been flying by and I suppose that's because we are so busy. This next week I have four exams, FOUR! (Let me guess we're about to go over a huge waterfall. Sharp rocks at the bottom? Most likely. Bring it on!) I suppose the hardest part of it all will be to find the motivation to study when its this nice outside or when there is a basketball game to watch. (first world problems?)

We're studying back pain and now I am far more aware of the way I bend and rotate and move. I find myself watching others and subconsciously studying for my test as I do so, evaluating their movements and coming up with a working diagnosis...haha Nerd I know. Maybe this will help me survive this week.

Yesterday was our church volleyball tournament. My team took second. For those of you who know me it won't come as a shock for me to say I'm competitive but I am way too competitive over a sport that I'm not that good at. I just hate losing. My roommate is the same way and we relived that tournament and how things went down long after it was all over. Next time...

Well that about covers it. I'm starting to prep for my internship and have secured a place to live which was my biggest concern. Life's pretty sweet here. I can't help but sit here and smile at all the many wonderful blessings and people in my life. Happy Sunday yall!
